Gadriel was not a particularly strong kid; he was a pushover at school and at home. His parents were highly religious and shunned him for his mental illness and his orientation. One night, Gadriel ran away to find help from a supposed lich that lived deep in the woods.

After meeting the Lich, Mors, Gadriel gained psuedo-vampirism from a spell by the lich. Gadriel became extremely powerful and infamous among other vampires. He now lives with Mors in his castle along with Julius and Callia.
