 | Cecily is an unremarkably average human being. She works for a somewhat known videogame company as a senior concept artist, probably orders more takeout than she should, and, oh, did I mention- is obsessed with death. Ever since she knew what death even vaguely was, it's always been lingering in the back of her mind. Her obsession was not well accepted by her peers all throughout school, so she learned to keep it to herself. Most who knew her well enough to know about it would either shun her, assume she wanted to commit suicide or something crazy like that, ignored it, or tried to help her. She didn't quite mind any of their solutions, unless it actively interfered with her day to day schedule. Mostly, she just drifted through her classes, waiting for the tedious, repetitive, and overall useless stage of life that is education to pass her by. It did eventually end, but she found she was almost totally isolated after that point. Which wasn't necessarily bad, but, wasn't necessarily good. Soon she had co-workers and bosses to fill that hole of human interaction, and that was enough. Despite her Strange Obsession(tm), she gets along just fine. She doesn't have many friends, due to subtle drifting off over the course of several years, and seeks most comfort in those she meets online. Most of her co-workers think of her as strange, in a bad way, mysterious, in a good way, or simply just another introvert trying to get by- in a neutral, yet pleasant, way. Not many of the people she corresponds with grab her attention, other than the particularly cute girl that sits across from her at her shared desk table thing. They have talked once. Well, maybe a few more times, but like a "pardon me," or "hello, good morning" type way. Her gaze often drifts back to her, and her perfectly rounded face, big, bright eyes, crimson tie, perfect makeup and..... Then she remembers she's at work.
