Iris is somewhat of an ill-tempered and vicious creature. He has a snake's tongue and a hawk's eye, and even worse, a speed unmatched... Which means he could be creeping up on you at any second. He loves pushing his nose into other's business, especially if it in someway involves his herd. Although many find him to be intimidating this way, he is mostly a young stallion vying for recognition and any sense of leadership over his herd. He is always concerned about the well-being of his family.
Iris has a soft heart for misfits and lost ones, however, it can be shrouded by his toying nature. Nevertheless, he is quick to extend a helping hoof to anyone who may need it. A keen eye can sense when one is truly in need... And when one is more devious. After all, it takes one to know one.
- Sometimes feels distanced from pure arabians due to his mustang heritage.
- Nevertheless, is quite proud of it and feels that it has honed his skills for being the fastest runner in the herd.
- More apt to be sweeter to mares, unless a fellow stallion impresses him. Still, Shiver might beg to differ...
- Once forced out a fellow Arabian, named (aptly) Fire Starter. It was never known why, but Iris claims it was "disloyalty" and "illness."
- Respects the presence of other herds but is rarely courteous to them, believing them to be responsible for most tragedies.

A once-tamed Andalusian who was lost on Fire Dancer territory. Iris came to her aid, begrudgingly, and encouraged her to join the herd after she expressed interest in the wild. Hopes to see her welcomed in.

Despite Haze hailing from the Dwellers, her mix-blood has bonded her to Iris. They are like kin, and regardless of her mischievous nature, Iris often does as she asks - albeit warily.
