Phiona Souris

Little is known about Phiona's birth parents, little that Roselyne is willing to reveal anyway. All that is known is that Phiona was originally born in a small village with her birth mothers before they both tragically passed shortly after her birth. Her mothers would give custody of her to their two closest friends, Roselyne Beauv and Jackie Frost. The village was later burned to the ground, with Roselyne and Jackie escaping with Phiona to the material plane. Phiona would grow in the super city of Frosthold, a shy and meek child that would hide behind Roseylne's leg.

Phiona started off as a shy young thing growing up. She kept to herself with dreams of becoming a circus performer much like her mother and the other performers that raised her. She had the passion and the drive, all she needed was the self confidence. Roselyne happily helped Phiona hone her skills in the performing arts, in order to aid in her self esteeme so that she may one day blossom into the performer that she's always meant to be. However... this growth would come with more than a few bumps in the road.

Being a demon has more than a few draw backs. One of the biggest ones is that people go out of their way to make her feel like she doesn't belong. As far as she can remember, even in her earliest years, she would be ridiculed, shunned, mocked, and even abused at the hands of others for her infernal heritage. One of the worst examples she can recall, the major motivation for her cause, happened only when she was only 6 years old. She had wondered too far playing when she was accosted by 3 paladins looking to slay her and bring her head to the elders of the high church. Thankfully, Roselyne was able to chase the paladins away... but at the cost of her wings. This even left Phiona so traumatized, that she actually spawned a phyiscally manifestation of the darkest corner of her mind with her magic. A negative zone. With the aid of the peformers, Phiona was able to dispel this hellish mindscape.

After these harrowing events, Roselnye would pick up the family and move them to a new town. Things started to improve from there, with Phiona even making a new friend named Willow, and reaching an age where she could finally perform in the circus along side her family! However, it wouldn't take long for things to take another tragic turn. As it turns out, Willow's parents did like the idea of Willow hanging out with a girl like Phiona, so they thought the most rational idea was to ralley the town and burn The Infernal Circus to the ground! While Phiona and her family escaped with their lives and most of what they owned, this would trigger Phiona to create another negative zone. This time, however, the persona that would help pull her out of this dark space was none other than her first drea friend, Willow. The young girl and her governess knew what her parents did was unforgivable, so they decided to leave the town behind and travel with Roselnye and her circus. Thus fordging a life long friendship with Phiona.

These two events had a lasting impact on Phoina to make Phiona see the world for what it really was. How cold, cruel and brutal it can be, but that only strengthen her resolve. If this how the world works, then she'll change it for the better. Not just for herself, but for her family, and everyone else that had to suffer like she had. Even if it's a threat to her life, she'll get strong enough where she'll dethrone the high church and make a safer and happier world for everyone. Honing her skills in performing, fighting and her magical studies, Phiona would work hard everyday, striving to always learn something new. This ambition and drive would fordge her into a prodigy in bardic magic, as well as a promising young performer. With her new trope at her side, she firmly believes there's nothing she can do!
