angeltrumpet.net is the number one site to visit for the hot gossip around town. Sure, it provides information about the town and the hidden gems, but it is also riddled with the most foul rumors with barely any base to them. Who would report on such lies?!
Nathan Van Horn calls it "interest journalism".
Nathan singlehandedly created and runs angeltrumpet.net, which he uses to post all the juicy gossip and rumors he hears around town. Nate is a background character in most peoples' lives, but that makes for the best stories! Occasionally, Nate will release actual news on his site, but he has more fun talking about rumored scandals and implying a "certain townie" collects hair, just to stir up trouble.
Based on the site, people would assume the creator is openly hostile, but in reality, Nate is pretty laid back. He spreads rumors for fun, sure, but Nate never does anything when there's nothing to hide behind. Although he's quite confident and sure of himself, he hates the attention and will actively avoid being in the spotlight. Nate is not much of a talker and much more likely to listen to the ramblings of whoever needs an ear.
Nathan is not one to rock the boat, going with the flow even when it goes against his best interests. Although he's occasionally argumentative just for the sake of it, Nathan is generally easygoing and easy to talk to. He deals with chronic pain in his neck, but he's not sure why he's wearing the brace in the first place. His best friend, Darius, seems protective about it, so he just doesn't question it, for the most part.

Best Friend, FWB, Soulmate, you know, the usual
Friends since they were young, Nate has known Darius for practically his whole life. Although seemingly opposites, with Darius being stubborn and hot headed and Nate being easygoing and lax, the two are inseperable when they are together. They get along extremely well, not batting an eye to the oddities of the other. The two have fallen into a friends with benefits situation, hooking up when the moment calls. This is seemingly a Band-Aid for their inability to communicate feelings; Nate is deeply and hopelessly in love with Darius, but keeps quiet about it in fear of ruining what they have. He settles for the moments they share together, and considers himself lucky that he gets those at all.
Friend
Being friends with Darius has gotten Nathan acquainted with the rest of the band, including the famous Shed He-Walk. Shed is loud, expressive, and wild, which are all qualities Nate doesn't possess, but Nate manages to find some moments to connect with Shed. To say that Nate encourages Shed's chaotic energy would be an understatement. Constantly offering his opinions and views when Shed asks, Nate enjoys seeing how the musician takes his input. When Shed's looking for someone to play Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, Nate will always come through.
Friend
Tea, a common face around the band, seems to be a voice of reason amongst the group, and Nate finds her presence calming... most of the time. When Tea has the time to relax, she and Nate take the time to bond over journaling -- while Tea is more open about the content, Nate enjoys sharing his decorating tips. There are times Nate will invite Tea to go shopping with him - while he enjoys her company, he also enjoys her opinion on new outfits and her fresh new gossip.
