The tidelings are the one of the oldest groups of monsters to live in the forest of the damned. They are the best adapted group to the new ambience, wich is concerning considering they still live in a very precarious situation. They could barely live under the extreme weather and terrestrial conditions of the land, and worst of all, were hunt for atempting to resist the opression in many ways. Kip was a orphan child, his parents have been killed by hunters, and his egg left for the elders to take care of. Lua did her best, and Kip was raised untill he was 4 years old. At that point, the old woman could not bear the responsability anymore.
Kip witnessed the opression of his people, the many victims that the hunters made, all of that in pure disgust. The more time passed, the more his hatred for the hunters grew. He needed to do something about it. The young tideling improved his stealth overtime, and started following his instincts. He stole the dagger of a hunter, and trained himself at the art of combat. For a self taught kid, Kip showed a lot of promisse, and that was only the start of many of his achievments.
He started actively sabotaging many hunter missions, stealing valuable objects for the task, destroying evidence, knocking out hunters before they could make a victim. With each sabotage, he took a took something valuable for the hunter as a prize. Be it a collar, a ring, anything that the hunter could have of interesting and valuable, he would attempt to steal it after sabotaging the organisation's work. That came of with many risks, Kip almost got caught many times, but after learning from faliure, he managed to calculate much better the risks and learn how to steal succesfully. At such a young age, he already represented a menace to the organization.
