Wip, refining some day

Berrycomb was a young warrior when a bob-cat started killing both clan cats and stealing from nearby humans. The humans set a trap for the creature but caught Berrycomb instead, who was then found by said bobcat and nearly mauled to death. Humans shot the bob-cat and tried to free Berrycomb thinking she was a housecat, but she sprinted off before they could completley remove the trap. She is now blind and the trap on her arm has become infected with time, but she miraculously does fine. The infection makes it impossible to hunt, so she instead aids as a lookout and helps around her clan in the little but important ways.

Ever since that fateful day, Berrycomb became a medicine cat apprentice due to her inability to hunt and do other tasks that a warrior is normally able to do. She was and is still insecure, although her mentor greatly helped diminish that. Her mentor was Flamefeather, a tom with his own problems. He was missing one of his legs, which greatly helped Berrycomb feel more comfortable and understood by him. Berrycomb was a great learner, and before long she got her full medicine cat name. She’s a great inspiration to many of her clanmates, although she may not know it.

Berrycomb is fierce though, still feeling betrayed by everything she knows. She vows justice for those who have put her in her situation, though she’s not necessarily evil. She’s full of many complicated emotions that she doesn’t know how to control, but maybe with time and with the help of her friend, she might be able to get over her feelings.
