Herman enjoys finding solace in the audio work he creates by himself. He was never a writer in his own mind but was really good at listening to what others had to say. Herman loves to interview people (that are willing) and reviewing the recording over and over to make sure he’s respectful of their views or just to avoid making them uncomfortable.
Back in his own home he has a very specific routine to record how the day went. No matter if it was an off day or the sun was rising again. People have told him time and time again he could save money on recording tapes but it’s the most comfortable to him as he retains information better in audio form. You’ll never see him without a headset even in the grocery store listening to his own shopping “list.”
