Wolfstrike

Wolf was born in the forest in a harsh leafbare. Her parents, formerly kittypets, didn't have many skills in hunting. one by one, her littermates died, until she was the only one left. They decided to try and join Mossclan, and they were accepted. Unfortunately, her parents lack of hunting skills made cats suspicious, once it was found out they were kittyepets, they were exiled. Wolfkit was left behind. Soon she found out her parents had been killed by the clan deputy. Wolfkit grew to hate the deputy, and many of her clanmates. She was too young to really understand what happened. As far as she knew, she was clanborn like any other cat.

As an apprentice, the clan deputy was especially hard on Wolfpaw. This caused the other apprentices to tease her. The only cat who defended her was Slashpaw. The two were close for a while, but Slashpaw became a warrior quite a few moons before her. Slashpaw, now known as Slashtalon, was much busier now that he was a warrior. He didnt have much time to spend with Wolfpaw, they started to grow farther apart. Wolfpaw became more bitter.

When Wolfstrike became a warrior, most of the clan had started to respect her, but the deputy still treated her unfairly. She wasnt teased anymore, but only because her clanmates feared her. She could hear them whispering about her. One night she decided to get revenge, for her parents, and herself. She followed the deputy out of camp, then attacked him. Though he put up a good fight, she killed him in the end. She was hoping now that the deputy was gone, she might be accepted and live peacefully in Mossclan. But it was quickly found out the deputy was missing, many search parties were sent out, but his body was never found. They searched the dark forest, nothing was found. Wolfstrike is just as troubled as any cat to find he wasnt in the dark forest, but she was relieved. Though some cats still suspect she killed the deputy, most believe he ran away, tired of clan life. A loyal warrior known as Nightsong was chosen as deputy, and evevtually she became leader.

Many moons passed and Mossclan settled in a new territory beside the other clans. Mossclan finally got their revenge, but soon after StarlessNight was killed. A shockingly young warrior known as Sageheart took her place, and chose Wolfstrike as her deputy. This was quite a surprise to Wolfstrike, as she had been cruel to Sageheart during the young warrior's apprenticeship. Wolfstrike vowed to be a loyal deputy, and has not broken her promise. during a patrol when StarlessSage was attacked by trusted clanmates, Wolfsrtike defended her, killing one of the traitors and driving the other out of the territory. StarlessSage died, but moved on to her next life. Wolfstrike, though relieved StarlessSage wasnt dead, was shocked. It was forbidden for any Mossclan cat to follow starclan, and if StarlessSage had nine lives, there could only be one reason. She kept this a secret from her clanmates, but privately confronted StarlessSage. Eventually StarlessSage confessed to all her clanmates, taking the name Sagestar. Wolfstrike was furious at being lied to, but stayed loyal still. If any rebelled against Sagestar, Wolfstrike would punish them, though she didnt agree herself with all Sagestar's orders. When a young shecat known as Batpaw went a bit to far with her rebelious behavior, Wolfsrtike attacked her, nearly blinding the young apprentice. The clan grew to fear Wolfstrike, and despise Sagestar for using Wolfsrtike as a weapon. Wolfstrike has gotten into many arguments with Sagestar over her leadership, but some small part of her seems to understand how afraid Sagestar is, as such a young inexperienced leader. Wolfstrike continues to be loyal, trying her best to keep Sagestar safe agaisnt her furious clanmates.
