Zachary

Zachary is Mayor Peggy's adult son, who lives with her in the mayor's manner. He's a college student majoring in medicine, and he also works part-time as a yoga instructor. Zach is a friendly, easy-going guy who looks confident on the surface, but he privately struggles with manic-depression (which makes his life hard sometimes).

Zach is a jackalope in his late teens/early 20s. (Don't ask me how a jackalope is the biological child of a horse; idk how genetics work in this universe, either.)

Relationships:
Peggy [mother]: Zach gets along well with his mother, and he appreciates the fact that she lets him live with her in the mayor's manor. He tries to show his appreciation by taking care of the chores while Peggy is at work.

Candice [friend]: Candice helped raise Zach for part of his childhood back when she was dating his mother. They're still good friends with each other, despite the awkwardness now between her and his mother.

Riley [best friend]: Riley was the first friend that Zach made after moving to Verston as a kid, and they're still good friends today. They enjoy skateboarding and playing video games together.

Trish [aunt]: Zach sometimes visits his Aunt Trish on her family farm. He admires her fun, easy-going personality.

Yarrow [cousin]: Zach's little buddy! Zachary loves spending time with his young cousin. They enjoy playing games and (sometimes) annoying their mothers together.
