During a war between his species and another species he became aware of the conditions of the war. Not being able to fight in the war between his people and the people from the North he began to study their ways of fighting and their tactics. When later in life he would become a solider himself, yet the war would be ended by then. 

During the war he met people, one of his notable friends being Viatorem. They met in between the war, and he watched her tend to other soldiers wounds.
