Before Bugsnax

Spork was a lonely shut-in who didn't like seeing the sun, for a while. He felt sad about this life, the sadness evolving into self-loathing and hatred to the point he felt he needed a fresh start. After what he considered a pathetic life, he thought that being invited to join on the island was a great starting point, even if he wouldn't have the same things he used to, like cell service.. He wanted to start over, and so he joined the group headed to Snaktooth Island.

DURING BUGSNAX

On the island, it was rough for a while. He already felt bad about eating the adorable little critters known as Bugsnax- and it turned out that he was allergic to even eating them, which left him with not much of a supply of food. Being a picky eater as well, he turned to gardening and started to grow his own fruits and flowers. He tried to sell these fruits, but they weren't very popular.. because of the snax being tastier to the Grumpus of the island. Well, more for him- but he did begin selling his flowers, which was a big hit for those wanting to spruce up their hut or the town. He'd even arrange flowers for events on commission.

So when the one in charge went missing, and the fight broke out.. he felt bad. Like, really bad. Nobody was left in town besides the Mayor, and even if Spork didn't mind him, he didn't feel like dealing with social interaction again. So he hid away in his hut, only ever being seen through the glass windows of his greenhouse whenever he needed food.
