Jay is the daring and ambitious champion of Alola. Growing up in Kanto, she had a rough time growing up after her childhood friend, Aster, moved away. Her naivety and willingness to trust when she was younger made her a perfect target for bullies, but as things got worse, her mom took notice and they moved to Alola. There, her and her trusty Sylveon, Mikoto, made the perfect pair, and she quickly rose to champion status with only one Pokemon. She resented Aster for leaving her behind, but after reuniting by chance, they have rekindled their relationship.
