Life on arden eld aint exactly easy! Even Ceres isn't about to say life is always peaches and cream, even if they wake up excited to face the day every morning. The rough and tumble type, you wouldn't expect their household is one filled with artisans, dealing with some of the best hand crafted porcelain and glass on the continent.....Or so Ceres loves to brag. Something of a bull in a china shop, Ceres just isn't quite able to do anything delicate no matter how hard they focus. Not for lack of diligence either, they gave up on being a craftsmen not of their own will but at the behest of their family who gently persuade them to put their (literal) strengths to better use.

And what better way, thought Ceres, than by becoming a spellblade? With elegant swordsmanship and powerful magic not only could Ceres defend their family's business but be a defender of the weak and helpless! Enduring grueling training, years of education, and many, many, many, self induced electrocutions until finally, they become a bona-fide spellblade! She still sticks out among her peers though, as her bright demeanor and tendency to march to the beat of her own drum betray the stereotype of the professional and elegant spellblade. But they didnt come here to be some fancy pants! Tough as nails with flashy magic to complement their physical prowess, they may be lacking in tbe brains department but hey, it doesn't take a genius to be an ally of justice! But......Is there anything underneath their cheerful exterior?

Ceres most closely guarded secret is that they weren't always like this, once upon a time they were bitter, cursing the world and everyone in it. Life isn't easy, especially for the newly orphaned. Ceres would be the first to tell you that as they wake up wondering how the world will wrong them next. Ceres lost her birth parents at a young age, when they failed to notice that monsters were trailing them home after playing in the forest one day. She was lucky enough to find a good hiding spot when they struck, and that her parents had sated the beasts hunger, but she was left to fend for herself for a few years after the incident. She was resentful of the world but this changes when a pair of Leggio craftsmen adopt her and welcome her into the family alongside their other adopted children. Maybe grief and sorrow never disappear, but over time wounds heal and your life grows and expands around them. Ceres relearns what it is to look forward to being alive, and tries to compensate for the gloomy and hateful person she used to be through overwhelming cheer.

Ceres was taken in by a family of artisans who valued hospitality and charity above all else, being unable to leave a child to fend for themselves. Slowly, gradually, Ceres climbed out of the abyss of despair they had fallen into, and embraced love and life with all its ups and downs once more. And Ceres wants nothing more than to help people at their lowest like their family did for them. Ceres' family is like a patchwork quilt, a trogg mother, thrynn father, a beastfolk older brother named Aspen, and xixo little sister named Marina, both siblings were adopted much like Ceres and the siblings bond over their similar backgrounds and experiences.
