XLR8 initially started as a prototype combat mech designed by an alien military. Besides being designed to break speed records, it was designed to be one of the deadliest weapons out there. However, the prototype has been found to have many MANY flaws in its development that caused it to ultimately be scrapped. As its programming was never developed completely, it never gained any loyalty to the military, and when it learned about its original purpose as a combat mech for a organization designed to destroy and conquer worlds, it was angry at it and vowed to destroy them by any means possible...
