Faeling ❤️‍🩹

you should've been holy. you should've been blessed- at least by now. there should be a halo around your head, armor on your heart- but instead, you're falling again. you're failing again. you've been scraping at your own coffin for years, and your paws are raw. why do you keep trying? you should be so much more. the light is just ahead- but it hurts. its bright and it burns and you're glowing from the inside out being consumed by it all. careful, you'll crack- then you'll really be the nightmare they say you are. the gold on your tongue is another reminder, the way your wings glimmer is, too. you're trying so hard to be bright and shine, but you know its never going to happen. break.
