boisterous . reckless . naive
Milo Mayfly has the charisma of a doorknob, as well as the inability to use one properly.
Milo hates learning new and confusing things. Always has. Despite such, he is tougher than steel in both mind and body, and is well equipped for withstanding even the harshest situations.
While one might nit think it at first glance, this man's got major golden retriever energy. His boundless energy is matched only by his passion for trying to be the hero the wasteland definitely did not ask for. Its not hard to gain his trust, and once one does, he will carry out any given task so long as he's convinced its for good and not evil (but its not difficult to trick him), which makes him a mercenary of sorts.
When he was a raider, he picked up a lot of nasty traits such as theft and an unbridled love for violence, as well as heavy drinking. Presently, he's managed to rid himself of most of his unruly past, but sometimes old habits manage to pop up on occasion. He's doing his best, really.

Can't read worth crap; Can't count past ten
Stands at about 6'8" - Tall and scrawny but decently well muscled
Has the retention span of a goldfish
He wears a bandage on his right arm and a fingerless glove on his left hand because he couldn't decide which looked cooler
His real, full name is Milan Merrick Mayfly and you'll get his attention right away if you happen to use it
(Fallout 4) Hangs out in Goodneighbor a lot; has a crush on Magnolia despite having zero chance with her
Uses an absurd amount of wonderglue in his hair; dyes it with Nuka Grape
He's not sure why his eyes glow orange, but it started shortly after the death of his siblings
Has a bad habit of crudely impersonating people behind their back because he finds it funny
Tries to help people in need, but usually makes things terribly worse in the process
Since he pretty much takes anyone and everyone for their word, he tends to take criticism/blame very badly, especially if it's coming from someone he respects heavily. He'll beat himself up about it for ages and wonder where he went wrong
HOWEVER, he also isn't really the type to "learn from his mistakes" and tends forget things quickly. Its not on purpose, its just the way he is.
Loves to sing and dance to the radio despite not being able to sing or dance
While he can't hardly write, he certainly knows how to draw. Many are shocked he actually has the ability to sketch anything at all
Skilled in using melee weapons, especially blades
Can twist, turn, jump and dive like he's a freakin' rubber band; can also squeeze through very tight spaces
He's quick and nimble, and has a bad habit of scurrying his way in/onto places he shouldn't be
Is hilariously gullible
Hates taking the stairs(so "boring") -- will actively find the most ridiculous way to scale a tall structure
Helped build a small settlement in a wooded area near the coast
He's so disorganized, his room always looks like a bomb hit it (and who knows, it probably was)
Keeps a drawing of his late mother under his pillow
His starting stats are S:4 P:3 E:10 C:2 I:2 A:5 L:2
His late game stats are S:6 P:4 E:14 C:3 I:2 A:10 L:5
Milo's grandparents escaped their vault in their youth. Residents of this particular vault were subject to extreme food shortage. Vault-Tec had intended to see how long it would take for civilized people to turn to cannibalism.
However, radroaches and other mutated insects burrowed into the vault and residents managed to stay alive by breeding and farming them like livestock. This resulted in the residents developing not only a taste for insect flesh, but a resistance to many diseases. After Milo's grandparents had escaped their vault, Milo's mother, Marianne was born. She grew up in a community of hardy vault dwellers who had become accustomed to exclusively feeding on irradiated, mutated insects. When she married and had two sons and a daughter, she raised them the same way.
Early in Milo's childhood his father succumbed to the wasteland and his mother remarried a strange man, a ghoul named Stephen. And for a time, the family was happy, going so far as to move out on their own, seeking independence from Marianne's community.
When Milo was ten, his mother made he and his siblings to swear to never utilize chems, as she herself had become an addict. And though the family began to fall apart, she still worked to reinforce the importance of upkeeping one's morals even in the harshest of environments.
One night, Marianne went out alone for unknown reasons, leaving her children in Stephen's care. When she didnt return for several days Stephen went out after her. A massive rad-storm rolled in, lightening struck a tree outside their home, and a fire began to spread rapidly. Between the thick gauze of radiation and smoke, the three children struggled to escape. Milo suffered several burns across his body, and without shelter or medicine, he started to became ill from radiation. By the time Stephen returned in the early morning, he found their home destroyed, and two of his adopted children dead. With Milo barely clinging to life, he brought him to the nearest settlement and nursed him back to health.
Milo grew up with Stephen until his was 16, when a reoccurring argument over Milo's immaturity and cluelessness caused him to runaway and get himself hopelessly lost. He eventually found a clan of raiders that took him in only after he proved himself by murdering a traveling merchant for them.
Milo was a raider for a few years before he'd had enough, as his guilty conscious had gotten the best of him. That, and he yearned for freedom from the oppression of the raider boss. Feeling confident in his combat abilities, he struck out on his own and forged a gang of his own making. From there he'd spend his life constantly grappling with the wasteland's the many obstacles, urging to return to his raider past.
