Goes by they/them/theirs, collectively, but each has a unique identity all their own!
Omelet is the doubting thomas; he's the cautious one, the tactician, the voice of reason. He hangs back and studies situations from all angles before acting. Sometimes this is good because it gives him a perspective the others lack, while other times it's bad because it costs him valuable time. Quite often his siblings have to give him a kick in the shell to get him moving!
Pickle is curious, jolly, open! She's always full of energy and always wanting to GO! She's also very much a follower - she rarely has ideas of her own, and will usually side with either Umberto or Sunny. She has difficulty making up her mind too, so it's not unusual for her to waffle back and forth between the two. The others agree that she's not too bright. But really, she's just not good at thinking ahead. She much prefers to live in the moment - to see, feel and do! Stopping to think about it only spoils the experience.
Umberto is a born pessimist. For him, the world is always one step away from disaster. He's very smart and very fast to react when pushed, but he thinks that outcome of his actions will always be the worst one possible. Thus it's hard to get him of his shell and out into he world, because he firmly asserts that the only way to REALLY get ahead in the world is to... do nothing. By doing nothing the chaos will part and move around you, like the waters of a stream will do when confronted with a large rock. It takes a LOT of goading from the others before he'll lend his skills to the cause.
Sunny is a bit of a daredevil, always charging ahead and leading the others into battle! They're not RECKLESS per-say, but they're confidant and strong, brave and bold. They're the natural leader, and have been since O.P.U.S. hatched. Sometimes it's hard for them to see the bigger picture due to their eagerness to be DOING something, but over the years they've slowly learned to rely on the strengths of their siblings to balance out their own shortcomings. Even though sometimes it's hard to keep their temper in check...
The group is capable of splitting up and acting individually, which they often do over the course of their work for Team Dawnbreak. Even at a distance they retain the ability to communicate - psychically - so they're never truly alone! They're very close to one another though, and being physically apart for too long stresses them out greatly. The longest they've ever been separated is four days. It made them all very twitchy and irritable, even the usually cheerful Pickle and Sunny. Thus they prefer to keep their 'alone time' to a minimum! Nevertheless, their communication abilities make them extremely useful to Team Dawnbreak - at least one of them stays back at headquarters at all times, while the others are assigned to different teams. Thus the teams and headquarters are able to stay in touch and communicate in real-time about mission statutes without having to rely on technology that could cop-out at the most inopportune moment. It's exceptionally useful!
