He's trans male

For most of his life, he's pretty much been a good person. He loves to help others which is why he became a hero. 

His parents were very transphobic and against his transitioning and raised him and his siblings in quite the religious household (not the sky daddy religion, my own made up one that I haven't fleshed out yet lol)

He loves building things, it helps take his mind off of the bad thoughts. He specializes in R&D. He mostly develops prosthetics.

He has a kid named Prince, and the little guy has him wrapped around his finger.
