Onyx Pavo

A Stringer player from Calamari Country. Onyx plays with a team composed of his classmates called The Pr1nters. Onyx enjoys playing this weapon but is a little insecure about how his weapon choice because of competetive tiering that places his weapon in a less-than-ideal spot. He tries exceptionally hard in anything he does, be it battles, Tableturf, or his schoolwork and gets stressed when things don't go his way. He is blunt and has difficulty understanding social cues, so he tends to drive others away from him. He seems to get along better with people who are very knowledgeable like him, and Chartruese was one of his first friends. Onyx's teammates know him well enough to know that he isn't trying to be rude, but he doesn't always phrase his words lightly.

He is a huge fan of Off the Hook and likes to wear a replica of Pearl's crown, earning him the nickname "Grumpy Prince" among his teammates. Onyx does really well in school and tries to help his teammates with their assignments.

He has two older siblings who both play Splatana-class weapons, and learned how to use them from his siblings. While he can hold his own in a fight with a Splatana Wiper, his internalized jealousy towards his siblings' abilities drives him away from dedicating himself to the weapon. He additionally prefers the range offered by the Stringer.

He has a questionable sense of outfit coordination.
