The powerful Master Gunner of the Crimson Frost, Tamale is a wise and capable kalon. They spend a lot of time caring for the ship's weapons--particularly the cannons. She is in charge of cannon care when the need arises, and she is always equipped for battle as needed. She carries two guns, rare as they may be: a flintlock and a blunderbuss. Surprisingly enough, while his demeanor always leaves one wondering how he got this job, his behavior certainly matches the position in question. She is a strong, capable commander when needed, and she is very good at doing things quickly. She has a strong sense of discipline and tries to teach the powder monkeys and mates all the same.
