Profile
- Alistaire is very calm and collected, mostly disapproving of everyone and everything. He is very scientific and politically oriented, all about appearances and looking good in front of the masses (read: everyone he thinks he can win over). He's careful and calculating, and he thinks everything through before he does anything. He's also very lucrative, meaning if he thinks he can gain something from you, whether it's information, or otherwise, he'll do his best to do exactly that. Alistaire is all about the profit, and all about looking as good as he can. As for authority figures, well, basically he's a brown-noser. He'll suck up to the bosses as much as he can to get in their favor.
- Another primary aspect of Alistaire is his distinct disgust for anything he deems "dirty" or "unclean." While his mysophobia does not exactly consume his life, it is a primary aspect of it, one that sets the bar for what he does and does not do. He obsessively wears gloves to keep his hands from getting dirty, and most of the time he'll wear several layers, even when the weather isn't quite as accommodating. He's gotten to the point where he can handle getting dirty or bloody for a time, but once he has a chance to wash, he'll spend hours scrubbing away everything.
- This also applies to people and physical contact; Alistaire is not a fan of touching others, even when it comes to his family members (read: his brothers and sister). He doesn't like hugs or holding hands or even shaking hands, if he can help it. Something about physical contact makes him shy away, and he becomes quiet and tense if forced into one of those situations.
- His brother Ian once confessed to him that he could see "the shadows moving" as a child. Alistaire, being the older brother, had taken it to mean that Ian was going crazy and told him he was making things up. What Alistaire didn't admit was that he was seeing the same sorts of things that Ian was seeing, but admitting that would be the same as admitting weakness, so he kept it inside of him for all this time. When he got the chance to be recruited, he did so.
