Lofta

Lofta is average height with a petite build. She has short, warm cream-colored fur and dark ears and tail with grey specks like freckles over her cheeks and between her brilliant green eyes. She has dark ears and a long slim grey tail. She has a noticable off-colored scar that stretches most of the length of her back right leg and will limp when tired.

Lofta is increablely understanding and kind. While she shys away from others, she can't help herself but think of everyone, first, as good. She struggles to see the bad in anyone even when they've wronged her. But her lack of self-confidence and self-esteem doesn't keep her from being safe. In fact, she will often slink away if she feels threatened, even if she doesn't blame the one threatening her.

Calm and even tempered, Lofta is a strong contrast to her wife's bold and brashness. Lofta carries a rear peaceful atmostphere and is happy to sit and listen. Fighting isn't her first action but she can and will fight when needed. She's quiet and observant.

Unlike Kit, Lofta was born outside of the community of her people to two fathers. The three of them lived simple and unassuming lives of the territory of Kit's people. However, Lofta's tranquil life was shattered on the day she recieved her scar. Although she seems to have lost touch with the details, whther by her being a child when it happened and/or the trama making her mind block it out, Lofta can still muster up the few flashes of memory she does still have.

In the early hours of the morning, the curiosity of a child's mind had Lofta leave the safety of her fathers' warm embrace. While they slept, she slipped out into the world by herself for the first time. She would marvel, then, at how billiant and vibrant everything was as dawn began to break. What followed her short and gleeful romp through the dense forest causes Lofta such anguish now that she shuts down at the very thought. And while the scenes are fuzzy, she can still feel the dread, the fear and relief of her fathers appearing, and the burning pain in her leg.

She would make it back to her den with the help of one of her fathrs, who had her press her wound to try and stop the bleeding. Then, he went to her other father. When he came back, he was covered in blood. Only he returned. But his wounded proved to great and in saying how much he loved her, he would steal away into the night only a day or after the event. She wouldn't see him again. Meanwhile, infection would set in in her own wound. Whether it was luck or fate, she would survive but it would cost her muscle that she would never get back.

Lofta did learn, however, that swimming gave her some strength back. She would continue to develop this skill until she was able to swim far better than run. She would grow into an adult alone.
