Bestla is a flamboyant seamstress and merchant residing in Dula Dula, who prides herself in knowing the fears of her clientele and fashioning the best Feast of Beasts costume for them.

Bestia is a shorter-than-average curio with short, silky dark brown and pink fur, Near-black hair and glowing bright yellow eyes. Small red bat-like wings sprout from behind her ears and between her shoulder blades in a fairly symmetrical way. A red-speckled black bead with metallic inlays is affixed to the end of her tail.
All in all, Bestla has a vaguely foxlike air to her, with a sharp profile and heavy lidded eyes. She is very light on her steps, and seems to make an effort to look shifty and mysterious.

Design Notes

• Wears dark clothing with striking red and yellow patterns, preferring triangular motifs, but she can also be seen wearing band paraphernalia in her free time. Most of her clothing is casual and easy to move in, but when in her shop she will wear a black shroud and a mask fashioned after the Beast of Marrette
• Likes to keep her hair down. There aren't many occasions where she'd need to wear it up, but if she has to she'll tie it tightly into a bun.
• She wears her choker almost every day! She likes the pendant

Flashy . Cunning . Selfish . Adaptable

Bestla is... Notoriously hard to stomach, in large doses. A woman of many aquaintances but very few real friends, she works tirelessly to upkeep the loud, mysterious and shrewd image she has made of both her stage persona and her business self.

In private, Bestla isn't much better. She is quieter, and much softer, but still very much the selfish and hyper-confident person that made her name. If anything, she is never boring: She will never hesitate to throw herself into new situations headfirst, and her adaptability makes her able to (usually) come out of them unbothered.

The Beast Manifested

Bestla didn't really have a remarkable life- Just a seamstress with a band on the side... Until the beast of Marrette made itself shown for the second time. The discovery of beastlings made a ruckus, and she was quick to notice her own accidental similarities with them.

So, obviously, she caught the opportunity. She adapted the persona of Bestla, The Beast Manifested, and used her own appearance and sewing background to open a costume shop to steadily growing fame- even to the point that her clients appoint a somewhat paranormal quality to her costumes, citing that The Beast Manifested looked into their soul and fashioned their costumes after their greatest fears, that her shop appears in the night of the Feast of Beasts in a whirlwind of smoke, and that she is indeed The Beast of Marrette itself.

It's all lies of course. Or, as she puts it, part of the spectacle. And she's determined to make the most out of it before her light goes out and her vision fades completely.

• - Lives somewhat of a dual life, being Bestla the figurehead of her costume shop and Berna Bachiuil, the lead vocalist and bass player of a rock band. Thankfully, her shop is only open during Feast of Beasts
• Legally blind, though she has some remaining vision left. Her glowing eyes are steadily worsening her vision, and she knows she has few years left until she'll go completely blind.
