General Information

Ripple is a melancholy little thing. She she was born with a very "boring" coat and markings, so as a fawn she was often teased and picked on by the other, prettier minkin. Some even go so far as to call her a dull minkin (though she's clearly not) and actively avoid her or drive her away. This has made her very insecure with herself and overly shy and introverted as a whole. She doesn't talk much and when she does she's very softspoken. She's not opposed to mingling, but she often stays in the background and is known to randomly slip away from gatherings or activities. She does better with one-on-one interactions, but even those are tenuous at best. She will immediately flee at the slightest hint of conflict.

Ripple has an affinity for water and spends most of her time near it if possible. She loves ponds best and really enjoys swimming. When she was young she learned how to coat her mane and tail fluff in a waxy sap from flowers, then splash water droplets onto herself for decoration in a vain attempt to pretty herself up. It never really helped stop the teasing, but it's something she still does.

She does have one very special talent, but she never shares it with anybody - a beautiful singing voice, like trickling water. She loves to sing but would be mortified if anyone heard her. She only dares to do it when she's absolutely sure she's alone.
