Gho grew up in a small town, only having moved away from it when he hit his 30's. He's always been supported by it's family, though it was small and when his parents passed there was nothing really tying him to it's home town. Growing up it loved school, but more then anything it loved when the farmers would let the school children help out with the autumn harvest.
It was hard for them to leave, it was the place they'd always lived but he knew that if it didn't then they would never meet anyone new. They still own their familial house, renting it out to an old family friend to use and take care of. Though, he doubts he will ever return, the memories are turning more bittersweet every year since he's left.

He was not an only child, but his elder sister moved out once she hit 18 and over the years contact dwindled until it was completly lost before his mothers funeral. They can only hope that she saw this happened, the address they had simply left letters comming back, returned to sender, maybe that means she saw them but just didn't want it.

What started his year an interesting way was the transformation he took, with his body changing and gaining his new traits. It was a shock to the system and he's not so sure what triggered him to recieve this gift but he's not complaining.

It's now the 8th year that Poltergeist has lived in this town, the now 14-year-old that has lived with him as removed a lot of his cryptid status. Though some children still see him as thus, as long as it never turns to bully Danni he's alright with that. There are still rumours about him, he knows the adults tend to share these more now, what the strange man is doing with a 14-year-old but he and Danni don't let it affect them.
Sometimes this is hard for both of them, so they just focus on their good image. He has thrown himself into helping out with the school for Danni, people apprechiate everything he's done for that child and continues to do.

They get by moneywise with the resonably large inheritance he got from his parents, as well as the passive income from the rent. It also earns some extra money on the side by helping tend for the graveyard, keeping it tidy and looked after. Sometimes in the autumn it will volunteer at the harvest and halloween fairs too, the last year they did it alongside Danni.
It has begun to work more now adays, mostly to ensure this money stays up and that Danni can get everything she wants. He does this during school hours though, so the child doesn't ahve to be alone anymore.

His future is still very much a mystery to him, but he's more then willing to go down that with Danni now at his side. They also have no plans to leave, liking the town and the main place Danni knows, and it doesn't want to give her that upheaval anyway. They're both happy so he sees no need in moving.
Love is something that has begun to play on him more. Not for Danni's sake, she has one parent and that's all she needs, but rather her encouragement for him to go out there and find someone. He knows this will be hard now, with his child, and the way his traits have changed. But then, the people this pushes away aren't the people he'd like to spend his future with. As long as he and Danni are fine and happy, that's all it needs.
Not that ghost wouldn't say no if someone just so happened to fall into his life, he'd quite like that, it would be the easiest way.
