Myrtle lived in a small suburban area with her parents and sister, Aster. Xe grew with terrible anxiety and struggled with existential dread and panic attacks. When fae told her parents about xir struggles, they laughed and just told fae to "grow up."
She took comfort in books and art, and spent a lot of time in her room, or going out with her sister. Because of xir absence, Myrtle's parents would yell at her for apparently neglecting them, and they'd call her miserable, pathetic, and other just horrible things. When Aster was old enough to move out, she invited Myrtle to come with them. She obviously agreed, and they moved to a very remote little cottage in the woods. Myrtle then found Frogee, a sad little frog, and xe took him home and instantly fell in love with the little bean. Now her, Aster and Frogee live peacefully together, and with the help of fae's sister Myrtle's anxiety has gotten better.

Myrtle is very humorous, always cracking a joke, even in inappropriate situations. Her strange, dark sense of humour is sort of a coping mechanism for when things get tough, it helps fae feel better. She is quite self conscious especially around people she admires, and often feels as if she's being annoying or clingy.
Myrtle is also very impulsive, she randomly has urges to do dangerous things and often makes very bad decisions on a whim. Xe lacks empathy when it comes to people who annoy her, and hates it when her friends apologise to people who she doesn't think deserve it. Although she's trying to get better at stopping this, it can be hard when she's not having a good day. Fae changes her mind ALOT, she can't really seem to hold a grudge because of this. One minute she'll hate her life and want to die, the next, fae loves everything. This even affected her gender, as xe fluctuate between feeling more feminine and more non-binary.
