Born to be the youngest kid in his family. He doesn't remember much about his mother as she passed away in his early childhood. His childhood is great nonetheless as his father takes care of him and his two older siblings. His fondest memories are of his father reading him bedtime stories. These stories and fairytales were specifically written by his father to him and his siblings.
He's an annoying child and grows into an even more annoying teen. His relationship with his sister Judith is always rocky. She just wants to be left alone, which makes Keito want to bother her even more. On the opposite, Keito and his eldest brother Roda get along greatly. Roda is always supportive of his brother and ends up taking care of him once their father starts dealing with alcoholism. This shakes the family greatly as all responsibility falls upon the eldest sibling - Roda.
With nobody to stop him, Keito rebels a lot. Resulting in him involved in lighter crimes. He gets arrested a couple of times, but nothing that his brother couldn't solve. As his brother leaves for university and his sister shortly with him, he ends up alone in the house with his alcoholic father. He is never abused, but not appreciated either. His bond with his father grows fragile until he completely cuts him off and moves away to live in a van. With no proper education, he ends up becoming a 'freelancer'. What does he freelance? Who cares! As long as it gets him money. Around this time he also adopts a shelter bulldog and calls him Peanut. He also picks up 2 (two) rats from the street and decides to keep them as pets.
He mostly hangs out around the town or his van, talking to strangers or bothering baristas in his favorite coffee shop. They tend to grow fond of him there and he meets one of his best friends - Ame. Only once befriending Ame he realizes how lonely he's actually been. And so, he decides to cling to him. Ame doesn't seem to mind.
Around his 24 year, awful news come to him. His father has passed away. However the situation around his death seems... Strange. Unlikely. Him and his siblings return to their childhood home to deal with the funeral and legal things surrounding their father's last will. They all learn that their fathers' death isn't like it seems. The Siblings reunite to solve their father's murder.

Keito is a loud, obnoxious trickster.
He likes humor and tends to solve every problem with it. Or just not solve the problem at all. He's carefree and pretty lazy. He's an open book and hardly keeps any secrets. He likes to think he's dark and mysterious, but everybody knows he's a walking megaphone. He's very sensitive and pretty empathetic. He just never knows how to help someone.
Keito will make friends with anyone and everyone. It's not his goal to have many friends or to know many people - he just tends to gravitate towards people and people gravitate towards him! He's friendly, very intense, but never means any harm. All of his actions come from wanting to have fun or craving attention. Like stealing.
