Frostflame and Blizzardtail were born in the same litter between Flamestrike and Coldfeather. They grew up together, not getting much attention from either of their parents. Blizzardtail has saved Frostflame from many bad situations - like the one with Damion - and has helped Frostflame through many tough times - like when Turtleheart died. They worked together to save ShadowClan from Nightpool.

Notes:

• Frostflame looks up to Blizzardtail because Blizzardtail is usually labled the "straight-and-narrow" one out of the two.
• Blizzardtail trusts no one more than he trusts Frostflame.
• Blizzardtail doesn't always agree with Frostflame's choices, but loves him nonetheless.

Coldfeather is the mother of Frostflame, Blizzardtail, Lynxstar, Blacktail, Creekwhisker, and Fawnleap. She's deeply flawed and never gave much attention to Blizzardtail or Frostflame. She focussed all her attention on her other, older kits - especially Lynxstar.

Notes:

• Coldfeather caused a lot of anxiety, depression, and commitment issues in both Blizzardtail and Frostflame.
• Blizzardtail often has nightmares of calling after his mother and her not hearing him.
• As Blizzardtail grew up, he began to lose hope of being important to Coldfeather and just focussed on being the best warrior he could be for ShadowClan.

Flamestrike is the father of Blizzardtail, Frostflame, Pearlshine, and Breezesong. He focussed more on Coldfeather's adult kits than he did his own kits. He focussed all his attention on Lynxstar and Blacktail. He was also emotionally and physically abusive to his own kits.

Notes:

• Flamestrike is the cause of many anxiety, depression, and commitment issues in all four of his kits.
• Blizzardtail hates Flamestrike with a burning passion.
• Blizzardtail was usually the one to fight back against his father's unreasonableness.

Lynxstar is the son of Coldfeather and Runa. He got the most attention out of their parents because he was a very strong, ambitious warrior who became leader later in his life - only to exile Flamestrike who looked up to him so much.

Notes:

• Blizzardtail was always jealous of Lynxstar. He felt inadequate next to his taller, stronger, older brother.
• Blizzardtail resented Lynxstar for stealing away his parents' attention; Lynxstar felt terrible about this - he just wanted to be Blizzardtail's friend.
• Nightpool had come to Blizzardtail, asking him for his help to kill Lynxstar. Blizzardtail laughed it off and didn't take Nightpool seriously. Nightpool killed Lynxstar and Blizzardtail fell into a depression, feeling guilty because he could have saved Lynxstar.

Petalwind is the daughter of Speckleflame and Curlfeather. She was chosen as Blizzardtail's mentor during his apprentice ceremony.

Notes:

• Petalwind taught Blizzardtail about the Warrior Code and instilled a love for it in him at a young age.
• Petalwind was one of the best hunters in the Clan and passed her skill down to Blizzardtail.
• Blizzardtail attempted to immulate Petalwind's training when he was training Starlingsong.

Starlingsong is the daughter of Speckleflame and Curlfeather. She was appointed as Blizzardtail's apprentice.

Notes:

• Starlingsong was nearly killed by a dog when she was an apprentice due to Nightpool's brashness. Blizzardtail blamed himself for this incident, making himself believe he wasn't a good mentor.
• Starlingsong always looked up to Blizzardtail. If she hadn't had her eyes on Nightpool, she might have considered being mates with Blizzardtail.
• Blizzardtail comforted Starlingsong after Nightpool's betrayal and they became close friends.
