Mira Serene is a sweet and kind nurse hailing from Land's End Cavern. She was born to Dr Nathaniel Serene and his late wife Marie. Mira has been gifted with a mysterious power to heal slugs, slingers and anything that has slug energy flowing within it along with the ability to speak with the Slugs and Shadow Clan. She is known as a Slug Healer. The Slug Healers are descendants of a woman named Arabella the Undying, the first Slug Healer. In short, Arabella was gifted her abilities by a White Boon Doc that gave up its life for Arabella's. Each of her descendants, including Mira, inherited the same powers. Mira worked as a nurse along side her father in their clinic. She met the Shane Gang when they were asked of the Cheiftan to seek out the Slug Healer to gain the trust of Shadow Clan once more. Along their journey, the Shane Gang discovered that Mira was the one they were searching for. She asked to join their team instead of staying in hiding like the Shadow Clan made her. The Shane Gang gain a medic to their team and one that can aid Doc in unghouling slugs. During their adventures, Mira becomes smittened by Kord and the two eventually become a couple
