AND YES IT WORKED RLLY WELL!!! I threw in all my resized icons for my chara and it worked so well by just adjusting the max height and width a bit to fit my resolution!! <3
I'm so glad that the w/h parameters are always so easy to work with on images with false or changed ratios, I had some profiles, that had the little "BG" or "GFF" stamps, the OG bios got, resized them accordingly and all the profiles still looked similar thank goodness, with just some adjustments by padding and imges. It was a little tricky though, to split all the images, to make custom patterns and colors LOL, but succeeded after like 10 mins. I'm so glad I can code myself, it definetly sped up things in comparison to me a few years ago, when I didn't understand all the yummy code spaghetti. I hope to somehow make a mobile friendly version too, only time will tell, might throw the mobile friendly version over to you if you'd want it also be on your code page! But I'm also just a hobby-coder, so who knows, if I can even take on such a herculean task, considering, I know ahead, that the only reason why it doesn't work on mobile, is the custom width and height parameters, intended for screenreaders. xD
BUT ENOUGH CHATTERING ABOUT CODE STUFF I WANNA WORK ON AS WELL,, JUST THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN. <3<3 We need more people out there, who just do fandoms a favour and sit down a bit. I'm coding on it as we speak, I actually fixed it real quick LOL, I'm not done so far, as the only thing that's left is to add the text and just replace all the background elements as img src with some media-alignment!!! The secret to making mobile-responsive codes is to mostly avoid HTML;CSS. Using backgrounds-code on TH is a painnnn. I'm so glad, that the official bootstrap site provides example codes, so I know where to quickly nab and add, whenever I don't remember code off the top of my head, LOL.
In your case, just mostly containing all the stuff in containers is missing. You need to add containers on EVERY floating thing, it prevents stuff from breaking and going "out of bounds" of the profile /gen! Bootstrap HTML code is, after all, designed for every size to be adjustable- so using their boxes and cards, is the closest you can get to responsive stuff! Hope that helps you understand, what all that extra code-spaghetti is for, people tend to do on chara profile codes! (you can see how people's codes were made via toyhou.se code editors or just using inspect element for PCs by pressing ctrl + shift + i, it's the best way, to learn new code you've never seen before, like this instance with me right now, I got a lot to learn here! xD)
I'm not so sure, if I can 1-to-1 replicate the background ofc, as aforementioned background troubles tend to exist- but I DID make it work on my personal code, even used it as decorative borders, so I'll do my best, to do it like you! I'm just impressed, how you fixed the background solution, with so much damn CSS mix in. I use plain, vanilla bootstrap HTML Only..I feel like a grandma, when I see your intricately made background code for images, instead of img-src. I can't believe that I'm flabbergasted by pure code magic, I have so much to learn from people like you, I as a whole, wish, I understood CSS mix ins better (especially those, who make polygon-adjustments to images and boxes, those are hella cool!). xD
I'll report back ASAP, once I manage to make a mobile replica and I'll send the code via pastebin in TH's note system, so you don't need to hoop through links n such and just get raw code! : D
Awe thank you so much lol! Coding is so intricate. Honestly, I only know as much as I do because I studied other people's codes as I was editing them for my characters. Also there's a bunch of coding tips and stuff on this site which is super helpful. I have a whole section in my favorties just for that lol (https://toyhou.se/DragonAnalei/favorites/74907). But I still have a lot to learn too.
That's super interesting with the containers and such. I should look more into that.
