Aster is a very unstable existence with multiple forms; ever since he lost his original bell, he had to keep finding other bells to struggle to stay sane and stay in existence, but due to the fact it his not his original one, they will all eventually break. There are times he has went insane and faded out of existence, but he will come back into existence to toil through his struggles again. He can switch forms in a drop of a hat and will typically do so conciously, but sometimes, when he gets spooked or see something threatening, he will switch forms subconciously. A bit timid and gets scared easily.
