Anna never had the best up bringing. At a young she realized how cruel the world due to her being given to another family. She was always quite around other people her age and found it hard to trust since she didn't want to be abandoned. In her teen years she is still has a quite and introverted persona but it's a bit easier for her to open up. Once she finds a person she can really trust she she becomes a bit more talkative. Anna is the type that thinks that people should be able to to do what they need to survive as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. She feels that its better to die trying to accomplish your goal then die doing nothing.

Anna met Eve in the 101th cadet after Eve had witnessed the death of her friend. Anna saved her from a titan and took her back to HQ. After that event Anna and Eve started to talk more often and established a good friendship which developed in to a romantic relationship. Anna still has problems with expressing her feeling to Eve but Eve tries to help her confront her issues.

Anna and Kuklo me while he was Noire Gremory in the Survey Corps. They were both doing a Hand to Hand combat were Anna was able to beat Noire and leave him on the floor. After the event Noire tried to get close to Anna but she rejected him ,to her surprise he kept trying to be her friend. Once she was she had enough of it she accepted him and they're relationship grew to a close friendship. When Noire revealed himself it hurt Anna deeply but she just couldn't let go kept her trust for him.

Anna met Fleur when Fleur was a small girl. Anna had found her and her friend Beatriz in the street and took them to a local family to raised. They reunited once Fleur joined the Survey Corps. They grew to be close friends.

Maunyo was always getting in trouble with the military one day Anna was assigned to take care of him. Since he seemed to be more calm around her they kept assigning her to him. She eventually go to know Manuyo he even revealed his secrets to her like how he was from outside the walls. Anna didn't really believe him since he was so young so she ignored it.

Tashi was one of the few kids Anna talked in her youth. At first she saw Tashi as a really annoying kid but she eventually got used to her. Together they joined the 101st trainee corps together and after 3 years they joined the survey corps.

Anna meet Grayson in the forest of giant trees when Grayson was looking for Eren she was able to take her back to the others safely. After that two didn't have much interaction after that but there was a unspoken respect beewtewn.
