Eriha is a magician that Sora meets in Traverse Town within the first Kingdom Hearts. She appears searching for two friends she claims to not have seen in years, though seems to be growing more on the belief that she'll never find them.

Story

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Eriha appears here for a short amount of time in Radiant Garden. She's seen with Lea and Isa, and is joking around with them throughout the entire sequence when Ventus shows up. She appears to have some sort of relationship with Isa. Curiously, however, she was not there at the end of the game when the two were thrown out of the castle.

Kingdom Hearts

Eriha appears here in Traverse Town, oddly melancholy when Sora approaches her. She informs him she has been searching for two friends of hers that went missing for a long time now, and then she finds herself starting to give up. However, Sora's encouragment causes her to consider changing her mind, and after a bit more conversation the two end up forming a friendship. Eriha offering assistance if Sora ever finds himself in danger and in need of another magician.

While Eriha does not appear here, she is alluded to and mentioned a couple of times by Axel and Saix.

Kingdom Hearts II

Eriha appears here in Twilight Town, seeing Saix when he was speaking to Sora and recognizing him as one of her friends she was searching for. She asks Sora if she can join in and help them in order to possibly find him and her other friend again, and when Sora agrees she becomes a part of the group for basically the rest of the game. When the fight goes down and Axel jumps in to assist, she lets out a clear gasp and refers to him as "Lea," a name he both reacts and smiles to, implying her recognized her. She's visibly distraught and in tears after Axel fades away, and informs the others that was indeed one of her friends she was searching for. Likewise, when they see Saïx before Sora fights him, she calls out to him as "Isa," his reaction being much more of shock and confusion than Axel's. Once the fight ends, she quickly rushes over before he fades away, stating while in tears that she'll be his heart, trying to cling on to him despite him fading away regardless.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded

Eriha appears in Re:coded only in passing moments in Traverse Town, offering advice to Data-Sora if spoken to.

Kingdom Hearts III

Details on Eriha in Kingdom Hearts III are yet to come.

Personality

Eriha is a generally upbeat and cheerful person. She can be rather comical, and is definitely the type to just throw a joke out there at random moments. This also leads into how she can be kinda teasing and joking around those who she does consider friends, though she always means it in the most affectionate of ways and would apologize so much if she felt she ever upset someone. In the first Kingdom Hearts, she is becoming more and more discouraged towards finding her friends, and appears much more upset and not like her usual upbeat attitude displayed later on. After Sora helps encourage her again however, she slowly begins to go back to the attitude she soon becomes known for. As times passes, she does slowly become more frustrated from being unable to find who she cares about, and as of Kingdom Hearts III, she seems very willing to fight anyone who stands in her way.

Appearance

Eriha has purple hair, and though the length varies depending on the point in time, she generally has one or two pieces sticking out. She also has bright pink eyes, and more of a light skin tone. She appears to be of average height, if not slightly on the short side.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

In BBS, Eriha's hair was rather long, and reached down to her waist. She kept a black and grey hair clip of odd design in her hair at most times. Her outfit here consisted of a black dress, along with a purple vest and black sleeves not really connected to the dress.

Kingdom Hearts I & II

In Kingdom Hearts I&II her hair has gotten shorter, with most of it stopping at her neck and two longer pieces in the front reaching to her chest. Her outfit now consists a more hooded type top or jacket, with a few diamonds on it (even a diamond type pattern on the sleeves). Diamonds are a theme here, as she also wears a necklace with a diamond as the center piece.

Kingdom Hearts III

Her appearance in Kingdom Hearts III seems the same as Kingdom Hearts I&II, though it appears her hair has gotten slightly longer.

Abilities

As a magician, Eriha is obviously capable of using magic. Most of her magic seems to be centered around light energy, though it is possible for her to use other forms - but not as powerful as light.

Others

Most of her magic is shot out of a staff that is in the shape of an umbrella. The umbrella staff itself can also be used as a weapon or even a shield, as it does indeed open like a normal umbrella (put where there should be fabric is much harder shield type material.

Relationships

Isa/Saïx

"I'll be your heart!"

In Birth By Sleep it was shown that Eriha, Isa, and Lea were all very close friends, though it appears as though Isa and Eriha had a relationship that was more than that. She cares about Isa deeply, even going as far as offering to be his heart while as Saïx. It appears whatever feelings she had over the years had not died down at all, and that she is still very willing to do anything to see him again. It seems that Isa returned these feelings, Saïx was even visibly in shock upon Eriha calling out to him in Kingdom Hearts II. It's hard to say at the moment if the two still both have romantic feelings for each other, but it seems to be implied in some way, even if Saïx believes himself not to be capable of feeling.

Lea/Axel

"Don't disappear in front of me like that again, you idiot!"

Eriha and Lea were both best friends along with Isa back in Birth By Sleep, and both got along well due to their similar goofy attitudes. Once Lea and Isa go "missing" Eriha is clearly upset over both of them and not just Isa, indicating how close she was to Lea as well. They meet only briefly while he is Axel, but it was enough for the two to recognize each other and show that they both knew. It isn't until Dream Drop Distance they get a full reunion, both seeming fairly happy to see the other again in a normal setting.

Sora

"Maybe my search has been all for nothing this whole time...."

Eriha considers Sora a good friend, and someone who she appreciates greatly for helping convince her in a way to continue on with her search for her missing friends. She's willing to aid Sora at a moment's notice, and has offered more than once that if he ever needs another magician's help he can just give her a call.

• Despite it being a weapon and not suited to be an actual umbrella, Eriha will occassionally use her staff as one.
• Her favorite world will always be Radiant Garden as it olds so many fond memories for her.
• Was stated to be trained to use magic by Ichiki.
• It appears as though she was also raised by Ichiki on top of being trained by her.
• Can be seen in Dream Drop Distance eating sea salt ice cream by herself.
