Constantly ice cold, pallid skin, dead red eyes, dusty white hair. Is this kid some kind of zombie?
Ha. No, but he sure looks like he could be, and he's just unlucky enough to survive death.
Vigo types in all lowercase, and tends to end every message in a period regardless of what the punctuation is actually supposed to be. He also breaks his messages down into a lot of thoughts individually.
PERSONALITY
Vigo is stone cold, cool, calm, and collected. He can be incredibly deadpan and blunt, and struggles with expressing himself. His humor is a bit dark and self-deprecating, often at his own expense and telling great stories of his misfortune. He seems a bit tired when he talks, and reacts slowly to situations as if they don't bother him, even if they might actually bother him quite a lot.
Vigo isn't exactly unapproachable, so to speak, but he is a little hard to get used to sometimes. He is incredibly unlucky and because of his misfortune, it's hard to get close to him, both to protect you and him. He's a little bit anal about details (though he pretends not to be), and despite his lazy demeanor, can be very observant.

CHILDHOOD

With even his birth being an accident, Vigo has been unlucky since day 1. His parents were both freshly 18, and neither of them were prepared for the world they were about to face, their bitterness towards each other only getting worse with the introduction of a baby. His mother soon cut ties with his father, lying to her parents and saying he abandoned her and her baby. She was forced to keep him by her parents, and the family soon moved away from his father despite his father's desperate attempts to get his son back.
Vigo growing up experienced a lot of horrible health issues, from his albinism, to arthritis, to scoliosis, and more issues came up every single day. Medical bills piled up, and his mother blamed him for his conditions, calling him a bad omen. Vigo took the brunt of this for 17 years, but finally couldn't take it anymore.
HEADER TWO
Vigo tracked down his dad to a small town several states away, and with no other options, hitchhiked and worked to find access to his dad's phone number and contact him. While he's doing this, he ends up getting hit by a drunk driver, and miraculously survives. When the ambulance taking him in asks for his parent's contact information, he gives them his father's number, and they are reunited soon after.
While living with his dad, knowing his mother is actively searching for him, he keeps inside very often. However, on a foggy day, while he was on a walk, he found a black cat that had been badly hurt as well. With a bit of begging, his father allowed him to take them in. The cat turned out to be pregnant, and the kittens born after were fostered by them and then adopted out; save for one: Haunt, who immediately bonded with Vigo and has been with him ever since.
