Demanding
A man of truth and exceeding diligence, he’s always seen working late into the night to keep whichever place he’s stationed at as “free of crime and muck” as possible, meaning that he wouldn’t allow authorities of any kind to step over him, although even then he knows his limits and rarely takes unnecessary risks. On the job he’s revered, demanding, stubborn, and rather grumpy, but in his private life he’s much more relaxed and even a bit of a romantic, being easy to fluster as well. He’s not exactly one to express many emotions either, though it is clear to anyone that he cares deeply and only wishes to see others thrive as they deserve it - as in, he shows no mercy to those who break their morals, even if they were a friend.

Early Life
Domevlo was born in London, England, to a small family of policemen; his father was a chief officer and his mother was a secretary for another station. While his family was well-respected and wealthy, they lived somewhat frugally. They also brought him up with a solid motto built on trust and sincerity; his father was especially strict and was the one who kept him in line for all his childhood - it went just like anyone else's, with the exception of him spending more time around the police station to observe his father’s work than the average kid. His father’s peers treated him just as one of their own, although as policemen they were rough and brash, clearly not having any idea how to deal with children. Those times were some of his best memories, however, as they all appeared to have a heart of gold and lived by the same motto, thanks to his father.

Teenage Years
The family’s own dynamic suddenly took a downward turn when his mother was caught cheating on his father with another officer in the station she worked at; upon finding out, the man immediately filed a divorce with her and took custody of his son, later making the decision to move away to Italy altogether following his re-stationing at a large city in Lombardy. This period of transition was especially tough on him, who was in his late teens, from both the divorce and his father’s decline in mental health to moving to a completely different environment. However, he settled in relatively fast thanks to his father being able to spend more time with him due to having a less demanding position in this new station.

Adulthood
He went on to become a policeman himself, graduating as one of the youngest policemen amongst his peers at the age of 22. About two years later he went into a special division as a detective, and worked for another 10 years until his father finally retired and he stepped up as the new chief officer at the age of 34. Another few years later his father passed, and shortly after that he was re-stationed at the town of Decesso, which was also situated in Lombardy. Upon arrival he immediately realised why he was stationed here; it had an enormous religious presence, and the higher-ups trusted that he'd be able to build a more stable relationship with the church and bring the meek police station to a greater power. It proved itself not to be an easy task - despite having rounded up the policemen and made his presence both in the station and in the town’s people, he was still stepped over by the old bishop. Though, such a storm finally came to an end when he was put on a murder case, in which a doctor by the name of Erlik was killed shortly after arriving at the town. He did the best he could to bring justice to the poor doctor, though in the end his hands were tied by the cruel bishop and he was forced to pin the blame on the doctor’s young assistant. However, this turned out to be the final straw for him, fighting back in a manner which allowed Fynn to run away. He also aided Erlik’s brother, Magnus, in figuring out the truth, leading the crime back to the bishop which was the final nail in the old man’s coffin. He was exiled, and Magnus was appointed the new bishop shortly after. Since Magnus became bishop, he was finally able to build a proper relationship with the church. Things finally seem to be looking up, but he still can’t shake a certain feeling regarding this new religious leader as well as the past.
Friend
Something of a friend; Domevlo and the rest of the police used to have an imbalanced relationship with the church, though after Magnus came in charge things seem to be looking up. He still feels terrible for all that the younger had been through, and does wish he'd done something sooner.
Acquaintance
Domevlo and Cecile are really just acquaintances, they talk sometimes but other than that they seem to steer clear of each other. He feels bad for her due to the loss of her lover, he was even put on the case, though the past is the past, one might say.
Friend
The young kid who was accused of their mentor's murder - that's the most Domevlo had remembered of them, but since they'd returned to town for whatever reason he's become only more concerned for their wellbeing. He does his best to be kind to make up for the past, and his warmness seems to be working.
