An intergalactic conman and thief, initially conceived as a children's toy created by a lesser-known toymaker. Cosmo's selling point and first concept was to entertain and adapt to external input, not unlike the AI of a virtual pet. Upon the final stages of Cosmo's completion, he was to download the blank personality of a pre-made base program, but per the toymaker's carelessness, Cosmo was plugged into a crime drama on television and adopted the personality of the criminal in the show.
He currently travels the galaxy, finding enjoyment hopping from planet to planet in search of new scams to pull, and new people to cheat.
A clever, cunning smooth-talker, but tends to push his luck and finds himself in sticky situations. Though self-serving and mean-spirited, he has a soft spot for children.
