werepsyche plus your alt: Out right basically called me a nazi in this post and blocking me before me getting to explain myself on ww2 themed fiction characters. My profile warning legit states something directly else above so for a reminder. " I'm sick of just getting blocked without being able to explain myself to such characters. Whether it be German WW2 characters, Japanese ones, or Soviet ones, So here is my full-on reply to these comments. It's mainly terrible if you do history-type OCs yourself and then go all out on me without even reading any descriptions on the folder at all. If you believe I am a bad person for expressing my art in the form of WW2, then take your leave, sure, but before you speak without a thought, read or DM ME PERSONALLY. I am very aware of all the horrors in ww2, as I have a major in history. I have written stories about WW2 fiction for years now, and for as long as I can remember (plus the art to it). I want you all to know that even though this character was traded to me, I handle all my characters as formally as possible without wanting to trigger direct bad zones. He is just a character of mine, like many others I write about and create art for. Besides, in my folder, it is very clearly stated to DM me on Discord about such problems or DM me here and not directly comment without any sense on how I am or these characters are. Yes, Japan has committed many terrible crimes throughout WW2, mainly by their soldiers, and yet Japan does not fully stand up to its horror nor admits to it. Germany and many of its soldiers did as well, but how is it wrong to portray WW2-type characters in a form of art, whether it be in music, art, video, or text? Take books like Code Name Sappire, All the Light We Cannot See, or the best example, All Quiet on the Western Front, as pure examples of fictional war-themed books. I have all the right to write about these characters, express my art with them, and write with them as long as they are written formally.
