Story:
Vanessa grew up with her family in Brooklyn, 6 years younger than her elder brother, Cole. At the age of 9, she was given over to Genetech for experimentation along with Cole to pay for his cancer treatment. Despite this, she grew up fond of Genetech, as it saved her brother's life, and when he became a lawyer for the company, he got her a job at its parent company, King Industries, while she was still in college. After graduating with her master's, she found herself reluctant to leave her well-paying job for a scientist's salary. At work, she spends most of her time with Taylor, Xander's secretary, and flirting with Sofiya, the CFO of the company.
