Aurelio is one strange character. Before each performance, he cakes on strikingly realistic makeup to make himself look like some kind of zombie. He often contradicts himself in our interviews, saying it’s just “his personal taste,” and later that it is a “direction from the lady upstairs.” His performances on trapeze are also an indescribable sight to behold. He will often seem as if he is defying death itself, soaring from great heights, even over audiences, while trying to provoke laughter from them.
