Clear CW Description:

His eyes were wounded by magic and will not stop bleeding. He isn't always portrayed with a bloodied blindfold, but it will pop up from time to time. 

He is infected by a Buzinya, but with magic intervention it has been halted from continuing its takeover and is restricted mostly to his monster form. This allows him to survive, but it also traps the Buzinya inside of him. Now, he can hear its voice and has to share his consciousness with it.
