Profile

Bio

Balke, Calix, and Inerva make up The Steel Hydra -- the leader of the group of False Dragons sent by the Greater Dragon Umbramagna. In the past, they were a three-headed hydra, with each head having their own identity. Even as a False Dragon, they've retained their individual personalities, having some of their powers split up among them. The three of them can hear each other's thoughts, and tend to come to agreements on who takes control of their body fairly easily, allowing them to flow between each other even in the middle of a fight.

Personalities

Balke is nicer and friendlier than Calix and Inerva. He can be reckless at times, but is receptive to the others' advice, who reign him in if necessary. She has a deep interest in different kinds of melee weapons, being able to fight capably with just about any one she feels like using at the time, even if it's been greatly oversized. Balke is the most extroverted of the three, and is often in charge for conversations that don't specifically call for the other two. Inerva can come off as cold and uncaring to others, but she does care about Calix and Balke, even looking up to Calix's ability to keep calm in contrast with her own temper and tendency to be stubborn. As opposed to Calix and Balke, Inerva typically keeps her distance in fights, manipulating steel to keep her opponent far away from her or otherwise locked down. She also has an interest any mechanically complex objects that have many pieces working together, and occasionally tries to make constructs like these herself. The fastest way to set her off is to disrupt or break Inerva's attempts at one. Calix is often cool, calm, and collected, and is adept at making plans and thinking ahead. She is the best of the three at hand-to-hand combat and Dragea, and it may be because of this that they consider themselves a sort of guardian for the other two, to the point of taking control of the body if they think the other two are in danger. The other two think highly of her, but Calix feels that she'd be lost without the other two.

Powers

Dragon's Body: Being a False Dragon, The Steel Hydra's body is incredibly strong and durable, and their tail is deceptively strong for how thin it is.

Dragea: The Steel Hydra has access to a godly form of magic that mortals cannot learn. Calix is the only one capable of firing blasts of Dragea and using Scale Revolution, but all of them are able to use it as a booster to fly with varying degrees of efficiency.

Scale Revolution: By focusing Dragea to parts of their body, Calix can manipulate their hard scales to rotate like the blades of a chainsaw. It makes her offense much stronger, while also providing a way to force opponents away when taking control if necessary.

Metal Manipulation: Balke and Inerva have control over metals, being able to bend it to their will and even use it to create various types of objects. Even if metal isn't around, the both of them can create it from the ground, with Inerva being able to do this much faster than Balke. They also keep an iron chain around their neck, just in case.
