Personality: 

Duskpaw is a very withdrawn cat. He’s very philosophical and often contemplates why the clans are the way they are although he keeps it to himself because of his family and mentor. They prefer to keep to Themself and struggle to connect with others. Despite this, He enjoys his job as a medic and is very skilled in this position. While physically weak, They’re (academically) intelligent and a fast learner. 

He has a lot of faith in Starclan and the warrior code… although, in an almost contradictory way, he wishes for a way for them to change. He feels pressured to succeed due to his status as “special”. 

Backstory: 

Dusk-kit was found abandoned near the Solarclan border and found by Gladeheart, a Lunarclan warrior. Gladeheart decided to take Dusk-kit back to Lunarclan but while carrying Dusk-kit to camp accidentally caught them on a branch, leaving them with a cut on their cheek. He took Dusk-kit to Shrikestar, as they were nursing their kits at the time. (edited)
Despite her reluctance, Shrikestar accepted Dusk-kit. Dusk-kit struggled through his first moons of life due to the cut on his cheek becoming infected. Despite this, Dusk-kit managed to cling to life. When Dusk-kit opened his eyes, the clan realised that their eyes were quite unusual. Shrikestar took this as a sign that Dusk-kit was a gift from Starclan and grew attached to him immediately. 

Dusk-kit managed to pull through his infection and survive, although his cheek was scarred. They struggled to connect with their siblings, sometimes even being picked on by them while nobody was around. He spent a lot of time alone, contemplating his purpose within the clan. Due to his reluctance to become a warrior and his interest in the role, he decided to become a medic apprentice under Chamomileleaf. Duskpaw has just began their training. 

Other: 

- Duskpaw has black eyes (this is a real thing and although no cats with black eyes lived past kithood… but this is warrior cats I do what I want) 

- Gladeheart, while not related to Shrikestar, still cared for Duskpaw and looked out for him. 

- Duskpaw counts prime numbers in his head when he’s stressed.
