Alexander

Alexander is a gruff, rough around the edges bounty hunter who usually keeps to himself. He is actually very funny and a good friend, but since he keeps most people at arm's length, they don't get to know that side of him. He knows his work is dangerous, and believes that keeping others away is for their safety. He DOES get lonely, but isn't willing to admit that. He was taught that showing your loneliness is a weakness, as it can be manipulated. If you don't know who your real friends are, you can't ever rest. So you might as well have no "friends" to worry about.

Alex's only good relationships are with Sawyer, Damon, and Lir, who all have high senses of justice and are strong enough to defend themselves. Alexander also uses them as gauges for his own actions' morality, since he can sometimes get too wrapped up in the case and the thrill of the hunt to pause and think about things from an outside perspective. If one of those three starts disagreeing with him, it's not because they're his enemies, it's because Alex is slipping himself. If they give him a hard time, he knows he needs to redirect himself.
