Sphinxes (this is my personal concept of sphinxes.)

Singular: Sphinx

Feral creature with humanoid face.

They can be winged or have features of other species / sub-species.

They used to live on earth but caused a lot of trouble there with playing brutal games with humans and killing them. So they got banned to the World of the Banned. Only one pure hearted Sphinx was left with the task to create new Sphinxes and raise them to be good hearted far away from earth.
