DiaLMoon is a company of mixed reputation. While many laud the company for its technological advancements, its quick growth and even quicker adaptation to issues, yet it is hard to find someone who does not remember the catastrophic disaster surrounding the DiaLMoon's VR system - no matter how hard the PR team tries to sweep it under the rug. What many don't realise, however, is exactly how far the company would go to try and resolve their issues.
A corrupt beast yet born for a divine purpose, Shai is a mix of the best and the worst. The good and the bad. The desire to help, to fix, and to heal yet to do so without asking, to do so without taking 'no' for an answer, to do so without considering if the other feels in need of fixing. Shai sees herself as a vessel of Divine Judgement, beyond the reach of mortal Kamishiba. But still she bends to them. She seeks them out, seeks their approval and their friendship. In the same breath she despises 'her own kind'. Lopdiemis are, to her at least, unholy creatures born for nothing but corruption and chaos. And there's nothing Shai hates more than corruption and chaos. One might wonder; if Shai hates Lopdiemis so much yet is one, does she hate herself? In a way she does. Despite her Divine purpose, her birth nature lurks beneath the surface. She is capable of cruelty like all Lops, and the call of anger and blood lust still echoes around her head. What makes her different is her ability to push these urges aside for the greater good, to push aside personal desires to fix the world around her.
As a synthetic creature, Shai feels a strange pull towards organic creatures. While technology and code interests her, the organic world enraptured her. Not that she will ever admit to this fascination - any weakness she shows can easily be exploited and she endeavours to keep her cards close to her chest and her enemies in the dark. Shai does not trust others easily, with her mission to destroy all glitches and corruption she feels that others may not understand her purpose - or worse, sympathise with the corrupted and glitched, unaware that most are beyond saving. Then there is the looming threat of the DiaLMoon Company. Shai is certain the company is aware that their little antivirus solution has 'gone rouge' as they would put it. Without a way to identify those who work for the company, Shai finds it hard to put her faith in anyone but herself.

Present
After being set free into the true Aurora Land, Shai has spent her time adjusting to her new surroundings. Her programming allows her to pick up and understand new languages quickly and thus she has been able to communicate with everyone she has come across. And yet despite being able to communicate with them, Shai struggles to understand Kamishiba. Their motivation and goals… they are always so foreign and unpredictable to the creature of code and algorithm.
Shai spends her days wandering around Aurora Land with her ears to the ground for any rumours of glitches. Occasionally she will dip back into the DiaLMoon VR Servers to ensure order is still in place and quashing any viruses or bugs she finds in there. When she hears of a glitch or corruption, she responds swiftly, putting them out of their misery before the pity parties reach them. There are few who would understand that this was the merciful option.
History
Shai remembers nothing before the fateful words; SYSTEM REBOOTING. She does not believe this was her birth. While the body was young, freshly created by forces beyond her control, the soul was old, well worn and long lived in. Yet Shai could not access any memories from before she awoke. It was as if her soul had been merely recycled. She may be centuries old but she would never remember any of it.
Shai awoke to a world so foreign to her eyes yet familiar to her code. It was a version of the land she would come to know as 'Aurora Land' but it was synthetic, virtual. And it was corrupt. Glitched. She was alone in a world glitched beyond most recognition. Yet with the instructions embedded in her, she knew what she needed to do.
She would fix this broken world and all that lay within and beyond it.

Time Rewind
One of Shai’s inherent abilities. She often uses it for rewinding the time state of small objects, usually for the purpose of repairing them. This small rewind does not work on herself or other Kamishibas, to rewind them she needs a larger rewind; this consumes her whole being and can only be done 12 times, each time a Power Plate on her chest dims.
Antivirus
The second of Shai’s inherent abilities. Parts of her body are made of an Antivirus that specifically targets viruses from the DiaLMoon VR System. Small, weak viruses can be easily dispelled with a simple touch. Larger viruses or stronger ones require weakening, something Shai takes pleasure in.
Engineering
Technology is part of Shai, as a result she always strives to understand it. Shai spends much of her time tinkering with projects or reverse engineering products to learn their secrets. She works primarily on smaller projects, things that she can easily carry around, as she does not have a permanent base or workshop.
Hacking
As a being made from code, it's not hard to see why Shai would have a natural draw and talent for coding. Unlike making large engineering pieces, hacking is something Shai can do conveniently on the move. Typically it is DiaLMoon and its servers that she attacks but she will dip into the security of other companies and organisations.
Inventory
DiaLMoon Set [VR Headset]
A VR Headset that is linked to the DiaLMoon servers. Shai uses it when she needs to return to the servers, typically to fix bugs or viruses.
Tablet [Electronic Device]
A simple electronic tablet. Shai primarily uses it for coding projects. When it connects, Shai can use it to check chat boards for rumours and sightings of viruses.

The Answer
The hidden organisation that works in the shadows to eradicate the Lopdiemis. Like everyone on Aurora, Shai has heard of them but knows only what little bits they allow to be known. What she has heard has impressed her. She agrees with their goal and can see through their actions that whoever is in charge is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it. Shai would offer her services to the organisation if she believed they would accept that a Lopdiemis would truly wish for the end of their own kind.
Engineer
Zhar
Shai has reverse engineered a few of Zhar's projects - the engineer signs her work on the inside of the metal work. The robotic limbs she is able to create fascinate her and the craftsmanship is beautiful, speaking of a talent that is beyond the mathematical thinking Shai herself experiences. She has yet to actually track down this 'Zhar' but she has many questions for them when she does.
