Bio: Baby is on her way to becoming an English teacher. She’s smart, funny, outgoing, confident, and extremely friendly, but, like Darling, she has a secret of her own. Her secret is, of course, Darling themself! Reynold wandered into her backyard (and her heart) five years ago, starving and confused about the world around him. Baby took him in and nursed him back to health, while also listening to Reynold’s story and filling him in on human stuff. Reynold overheard Baby speaking to her cat in terms of endearment, and, thinking it was a totally normal thing for perfect strangers to refer to each other as, began calling her “Baby”. Baby didn’t mind, and caught on, nicknaming Reynold “Darling”. The terms of endearment that aren’t really terms of endearment have confused many a person into thinking the two are dating, but it is not true… yet?
Baby knows about Darling’s powers, but not to their full extent. She has no idea what they’re really capable of.
