What started of as a joke between his siblings, when they where children, Lucian over time realised that he had grown quite fond of his nickname "Lu", no matter how stupid it may sound or how quick strangers are to assume him to be a girl, Lucian would lie if he claimed his friends calling him by his siblings nickname didn't remind him of home or didn't bring him an odd sense of comfort.
Meaning
It's a funny coincidence, really didn't intend that to happen, but both his birth and last name roughly translate to either "light" or "bright" and have their origin in Latin, that said his lastname "Lawrence", that can be used as either birth or last, is a lot more common and popular in English.

An extremely intelligent and talented individual often assumed to be a miracle child. While able to solve even the thoughest of strategic predicaments with ease and ensure a mission will have an high successrate even with his team stumbling from one trap into the next, the genius fails to connect to those around him on more than just the surface level.

Funfact
Despite his age Lucian is quite fond of Plushies no matter their size, appearance and form as long as he can squeeze, carry them around or cuddle with them every once in a while,- his fondness of Plushies has caused him to grow a decently big collection over the years, with the oldest he had since childhood still hanging around.
His favorite and at the same time oldest plushie is a black rabbit with a white belly and snout as well as two heart shaped markings on his lopsided ears, finished off with a light blue bandana tied around it's neck. Perhaps it became second nature at this point but grown man or not Lucian refuses to leave his beloved plushie and insists on taking "Cliff" everywhere he goes, much to Drafius growing annoyance.
Aside from serving the role of emotional support Cliff is actually an important part of the avians main line of defense, seeing how his ability allows him to control his little friends to a fixed degree. While Lucian never felt threatened to actually resort his beloved Plushies, due to Crocell being quick to counter whatever attack is thrown the prince's way, it's still nice to always have a backup plan he could fall back on...doesnt stop him from using this part of his Ability if he feels bored enough though.

Lucian was born in Pyrria a Kingdom located within the deepest parts of the Jungle, it's unique layout and lurking Monsters make it difficult for outsiders to navigate, while residents use the labyrinth like structure of their environment to their advantage building their homes high atop the trees to hide from prederators.
One of the biggest attractions Pyrria has to over his a majestic giant of a Tree, which the citizens of the nations belive to have been blessed by their beloved Godess and thus became known as a symbol of the divine. Lucian himself grew up in the Castle build in the crown of said tree with suspension bridges connecting the platform around the castle with the different tree houses surrounding the architecture. Due to not all citizens of Pyrria able to fly, some rope bridges also reach towards the ground to make it easier for non-avians to climb up, however these bridges are usually secured high above ground the moment the sun begins to sink,- due to the monster starting to wake up once the moon begins to rise....to your own savety it's generaly advised to not leave your house during the night and avoid commotions such as light or noise that could attract the beasts attention.

Astra is a dessert Nation known for its miles on miles of absolute nothingness, though some might argue that despite its harsh and rough living conditions the land itself consists of more stones than sand. Yet it's seas of hot magma and active vulcanic craters make the Nation appear dangerous and inhabitable all the same.
While the earth around the active vulcans are known to be of highest quality and extremly nutrituos for plants to grow, it's high in sulfur concentrated air curtesy of the craters and magma will make it difficult for any creature to breath. Which is why over time it's local citizen began migrating underneath the ground to escape both suffocating air and insufferable temperatures.
Many decades went by before it's descendants would become eventually known for their impressive masterpiece of a City built with a labyrinth structure and multiple tunnels spanning kilometers underground. The whole place illuminated by nothing more than glowing crystals and fluorescent flowers curtesy of the Nations very own strange yet curious flora and fauna.

Prior to his kidnapping Lucian would prefer hangout out in his room than go outside, this knowledge added with the fact that he now lives below the surface and only sees the sun every once in a while, shouldn't make it all that surprising that his skin is extremely pale.

Lucian has a Tattoo on his back, symbolizing the Group he is a part of. Like every other Member of the Phantom Guards, the Tattoo Lu wears shows a dragon made out of Arrows circling around a number. As the fifth and last member to join the Group the number on his tattoo is displayed as such.

When it comes to Lucian's clothing choices it's recommended to not get expect to much, the Avian isn't known to be the most productive or active so its not far fetched to claim that the Phantoms Strategist prefers owning multiple versions of the same outfit....he claims getting dressed is a lot less stressful and faster if you eliminated multiple different clothes to choose from. His words not mine.
Lucian's go to outfit consists of a simple turtleneck sweater with stripes in muted shades of red paired with either a blue overalls or jacket that's way to big for his thin body, with one side loosely falling off from one of his shoulders. The outfit is finished off with a pair of brown shorts and tights in the same colors as his sweater but with a different print. Side note: Lucian hates wearing shoes, he tends to wear something that allows his feet to breath in case his claws decide to come out. Both his overalls and jacket also tend to have two slits in the back right over his shoulderbacks to make room for his wings.
Soulband
A Soulband is an internationally issued device disguised as a black band with a neon glowing light, which is given out to registered citizens of each Nation right after their birth. Due to each citizen receiving their device in the first moments of their live, the public tends to see these Soulbands as an individuals first gifts besides their name.
These devises are essential items to those that wish to fully function in Andorn or move between Country's without facing any issues, seeing as Soulbands serve a variety of different purposes intended to make a citizens life easier: from personal ID able to information specifically tailored to the owner of the device such as their Height, Age, Species, Blood type, Appearance, address, occupation or birthday etc. they also double as a bankaccount while storing information about an individuals contacts, ticket-information, travelpass, health, criminal record or current location.
While the sensitive data collected by the device faces a high risk of getting potentially abused by either government or third parties, it's widely believed that under normal circumstances said information would come in handy until absolutely necessary. That said the glowing light of the device serves a specific purpose as well, because during its invention each Nation had been assigned a specific color.
In other words the glowing light of the item can be used to quickly tell where it's owner originates from without hawing to look up personal files and search for their Nationality. Yet, despite all the good that comes from wearing these devices, from all the promises to supposedly make life easier and less stressful for it's owner, wearing these items is not a choice.
According to the law under no circumstances is the Owner allowed to take their Soulband off, furthermore these devices have to be worn in a place where they are easily accessible and to see, costumizing or decorating is also seen as against the law,- breaking these rules will come with its own set of consequences. Despite these limitations the Owner of a Soulband is free to wear their device wherever they please, as long as it's easy for officials to spot. Some may choose to wear their Soulband around their neck, others around their feet or wrist, while wanted criminals...where none at all.

Lucian is part of an Avian species called Himmelsflügler under the Monster category, however outside of Pyrria the nickname "False Angels" seems to be more widely known. Himmelsflügler can be described as humanoid creatures with birdtraits, tails and wings, this said unless they feel threatened or had been born mutated you could easily mistake them for a regular human...with wings and tail.
False Angels are extremely prideful and selfish, they usually keep to themselves within the depths of their Nation, these guys also seem to believe that anybody, outside their species, is beneath them and that they are the most elegant and majestic. Their species may not look like much at first glance, just some humans with feathers, wings and a tail. Yet if they feel threatened or backed into a corner their "human disguise" will break, a Himmelsflügler that feels fear or rage will transform into monstrous inky bird creatures.
Abilities
Cupid Kiss is an Ability that allows is user to raise the dead on the condition that he would need to literally kiss the Corpse in question and that the freshly deceased would need to have felt any form of affection towards the Necromancer in the first place.
He is also able to breath life into puppets to some extend, controlling their bodys allowing them to walk around or to communicate. Lucian often used this part of his Ability if he wants his army of plushies to fetch something for him or infiltrate a base but he can also use them to sneakily interact with his other team members during missions. He can breath life into Puppets if he feels a strong sense of attachment for them and kisses their head.
Cupids Kiss also allows him to heal others by getting physically close to them, hugging them or Carresing their skin.

Lucian in all honesty does not know how to fight without relying on his puppets or bodyguard Crocell Lucian would be completly helpless. There's a reason he is claimed to be the weakest out of the five phantom's afterall.
Downsides
Lucian is unable to turn his Ability off, so it will continously use a lot of his Mana causing him to feel extremely tired or unmotivated and sleepy. Seeing as for the longest time Lucian wasn't even aware of his Ability also being able to raise thee dead, he currently finds himself unable to control and command more than one.
Another downside of his Ability is, that every time he revives someone that person will lose a part of themself, be it a precious memory or key-characteristic, if he overuse it he could run the risk of effectively destroying said person's identity, leaving nothing but an empty lifeless husk.

Education
As a prince it shouldn't come with much of a surprise that Lucian and his siblings enjoyed a homeschooled educated, sheltered behind castlewalls under the watchful gazes of their private and handpicked educators. At least this was how the children believed their educations would go, completly oblivious to their Parents worries of their children potentially growing up with no friends or connections to any children their age.
Still thinking that sending their children to a common school would be too riskant or dangerous, Mikael and Aloysia eventually settled on allowing their employees to have their children join the young princesses and prince during their lessons from time to time. It was one of these lessons that caused Lucian to meet his eventually bestfriend Crocell for the first time, they've been a packagedeal ever since.
Occupation
Lucian is the 5th member of the infamous Phantom Guards, a fearsome Mercenary Group under the King of Astra's command that acts completly independant to the Astrian Military usually taken on mission the Country is unable to deal with on official means. This said the Group also takes on other jobs, such as assassinations or protections of certain individuals or groups as well as exterminations of Inks as long as the money is paid upfront.
Reason for the Phantoms being recognized as their own seperate entity are the deal Queen Agash and her Husband Ema-ho had agreed upon, which mainly includes the Pthantoms stating that they will take no direct orders from their Queen and they can only be seen as part of the Military in the Nation's time of need. Lucian's job is to play the role of the teams strategist and make sure his colleagues don't die from their own stupidety...also to make sure that every mission he's on is successfully...hopefully.

After the exiling of his Father and Orpheus taking over the Country, forcing his Mother to remarry, it quickly turned into an open secret that Lucian would be the next in line to be disposed off. The moment Aloysia found out what her new "Husband" was planning, his sisters where quick to come up with a plan to get Lucian out of the Country and protect him from his pitiful fate.
So uhh...in the two other halfs of the trio Lyriel and Lauriel where working on a tight deadline, there wasn't much time to prepare or come up with anything better. Heck the siblings where glad they could manage to reach Crocell in time! Wait, didn't he die on the battlefield months ago though? He's here isn't he? They can worry about little details like how the dead could arrive in front of their doorsteps...no sorry, could burst through the Window, not caring for the loud noise caused by shattering glass causing alerted Guards rushing into the room with their weapons raised ready to protect their prince....only to witness him screaming for his siblings, as the culprit and prince escape through the night never to be seen again.

Personality
Lucian isn't the most talkative person not the most expressive, it's rare for him to openly wear the heart on his sleeves...not because he's shy or afraid but more due to him not feeling the part, forcing the muscles in his face to shape into the grimace of a smile is tiring to the young man. It's not that Lucian doesn't feel, he just shows his care in different more roundabout ways.
He hates confrontations or situations in were he would need to show effort of any kind, he's lazy in every way,- if the world would work in his favor he most definatly wouldn't leave his bed all day just gaming the hours away or watching his favorite series in the quietness of his home. He doesn't enjoy talking to others not only because its tiring to him but also because he gets easily confused about others reactions or feelings, this and the fact that he feels insecure about his own lack of visible emotions.
Lucian is curious, he enjoys observing others and has a rather judgmental mindset yet, on whatever conclusion he comes to the people or situations around them, be it bad or good, he will keep to himself.
He's quiet yes but not nice, despite what his appearance would let you on to belive Lucian does have quite the temper. If things don't go his way or if he can't follow his set routine for the day he will shut down and lash out on you. Usually his temper tantrums or outbursts result in him throwing his controller, or whatever he can get his hands on, or treating them with absolute silence and a judgemental look. He's not one to curse or yell, it's too much work he rather leaves it to his bodyguard.

Of course Lucian has fears! He may not show his emotions noticible outside but he isn't devoit of them, don't ask him about them though he'll just claim it to be a stupid lie and that there's nothing he's afraid of,- Cecill however loves to claim he's a coward in hiding.
Habits
Lucian has a habit of talking to his Plushies when he's feeling stressed, overwhelmed or when he tries to get his thoughts in order. He claims it helps him to organize his thoughts, especially since his Plushies, when under the influence of his Ability, can sometimes help to point a detail out he had previously overlooked. He also uses this habit as an excuse to curse out his teammates, if they complain he'll claim it was his Plushies instead.

× Lu loves to collect all types of plush animals, to the point were he often has to be reminded of his shelves and closet being unable to house much more...still from all the plushies he owns Cliff my very well be his most treasured.
× Playing video games, he loves playing both Strategie or action filled titles. In his opinion the Strategie games help him train his mind and practicing to focus on the small details around, on what actually counts inorder to see the bigger picture, while the action filled titles help him to calm his nerves and let his anger thrive instead of bottling it up deep within.
Dislikes
× The stench of death, he refuses to explain himself on that topic. If you dare mention Crocell's current state to him and burst his innocent bubble goodluck explaining yourself to Mikael...may he have mercy with you.
× Work or doing anything productive really, Lucian is lazy to a fault he refuses to do anything that requires him to leave the house or walk around, the only exception to the rule is when something managed to catch and hold his attention for longer than 5 minutes.
× Lucian and Orders don't get along, something Ema had to realise early on. It's not that he will lash out on you, if you ignore the controller aimed directly at your head, but the silent glare he will give you before completly ignoring you and going off to do his own. It's possible for Lucian to work with others whether he'll be off actual help and not sass them out while watching from the sideline completly depends whether he feels the situation is worthy of his interference or not.

Known for his love towards Alkohol, the former King of Pyrria was often regarded as nothing more than a pityful drunkard with a knack of seeking for both chaos and challenging his own fate. Yet despite this he was greatly loved by the citizens for being a benevolent Person and a fair ruler who would put his nation's well-being before anything else.
Mikael was known as a person who was actively seeking for peace, he had drawn the elders disdain towards himself after searching for ways to end war with the neighboring Nation and their longterm enemy instead of further drawing for blood. Perhaps it was due to him shaking up centuries worth of traditions in rewriting history and attempting to create a better and safer future for both his people and children, that the tribes elders eventually found themselves swayed by the royal advisors growing hatred,-
Perhaps it was only a question of when the patience with their free-spirited Ruler would eventually snap, for when they would put their betrayal into action successfully accusing their beloved Ruler for a crime never committed, striping him of both title and power before sending him into exil and allowing the former advisor Orpheus to take charge as the current Ruler.
Aloysia Lawrence [Mother | remarried | alive]
The young daughter of a poor yet hardworking palace maid who would often spent her days hidden away in the deepest corners of the Library reading hours away until her Mother would come pick her up to return home for the night. Aloysia was a beautiful young lady who instantly captured the prince's adoration with her bright yet curious personality, yet despite this confessing his growing crush towards her proved to be quite the challenge due to the young girls headstrong tendencies.
After falling in love with Mikael and agreeing to marry him, adjusting to her new standing in society came with quite a lot of struggles along the way. Still instead of allowing her new standing to cloud both her judgment and actions the kindhearted and loving woman only began working harder to ensure that people would think twice before belittling her for the background she had been born and raised in.

Pyrria's first born princess also known as the Kingdoms pride and joy born with a mixture of her Father's fair yet freepirited and her Mothers kindhearted yet headstrong personality. Alva is Mikael's oldest daughter by seven years who aspires to one day step into his footsteps and become the Nation's new Ruler much to the elders and Orpheus on growing headache, who still believe in the upholding of traditions from the past effectively ignoring the Kings and Queen undying encouragement of breaking and rewriting standards from a history long faded into written texts of old.

Lucians older Twinsisters by three seconds who will often use this reasoning to win over an argument by claiming him to be their "baby" or "toddler" little Brother despite being well aware of the fact that all three share the exact same birthday, time and age. In all honesty as much as Lucian loves his sisters and holds them dear to his heart, he can't deny the fact that they also greatly terrify him to a certain degree. Because what Lucian lacks in troublemaker tendencies and outgoing personality these two gremlins got way to much off, often proving themself to be a headache to handle by dragging him from one chaos into the next...yet Lu would lie if he said that seeing their michivious smiles of nothing but joy wasn't something worth treasuring.

➡ Curiously enough on a large pillow situated on the floor surrounded by his Plushies, he doesn't seem to enjoy sleeping in a bad despite his royal upbringing,- his teammates love to joke that Lucian is able to fall asleep anywhere as long as he's able to curl into a little ball.

➡ While Astra is devoid of animals, the Avian is still able to encounter lots of different kinds of animals during his "forced" missions with his colleagues. From what Crocell can tell Lucian seems to enjoy observing seagulls...why? His bodyguard would love to know as well.
