Fleurine is also a French name, meaning simply ‘flower.’
Foxglove is the name of a common British plant with several bell-like blooms, known to be poisonous.
Thus her name means:
‘Two little flowers of the Foxglove.’
She is my main mascot alongside Femke! Although, admittedly, I prefer her just a little bit more. She helps plants and animals to grow, shaking her petal tail which drops seeds (food for the animals) and plants random vegetation. She is a cautious loner but hopeful and travels often, sometimes with Gypsies (they sewed her clothes), to fairs and fêtes around Britain. Not that she is adverse to travelling abroad, of course.
