A lost vagabond, far too full of pride to admit either of those things.

Charka claims to be a wanderer, but is actually just... really, really lost, often managing to even appear in entirely different universes. They just want to return home, but they've been at it for so long they're barely even sure of such goal anymore... and, honestly, they can feel home pretty much anywhere comfortable enough.
During their "travels", they love to mess with people, especially strangers and those newly met, as Charka figures they're never gonna see any of them again... or they hope so, at least. And, despite usually being quite sarcastic, they aren't actually very well aware of it, often misinterpreting things and being made a fool, even by those with no intention to do so whatsoever.
Charka started their journey a few years back, sent by their martial arts school to travel the world and seek enlightenment; but, really, all they wanted to do was to get rid of their nuisance. They planned for it to take only a few months, but Charka got too excited, and lost most of the track they've made, often going around in circles without realizing. Now, completely lost, they don't have much more hope of returning home, but it's still enough to keep them going... that, and the fact all the new foreign cuisine they come across is delicious.
They were obliged to train in the martial arts school, despite their unwillingness to learn any of it, as a measure to deal with an unruly temper. And it did help, albeit in an unintended way: instead of learning to control their emotions, they simply learned to relax, disrespecting authority and letting pure flow and intuition guide them; this resulted in a peculiar fighting "style", devoid of any actual techniques, with every movement being completely improvised in a moment's notice as a reaction to the environment. This resulted in an extremely adaptable style, although it does often pale in comparison against truly trained opponents. Still, none of that stops their mighty amount of gloating, as Charka adores to revel in effortless victories and success, often giving themself the title of "Heaven's Match".
